Who provides JAU

Information this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to JAU websites, applications, workspaces, and related support services. It does not replace the privacy terms of a connected service, model provider, or website that operates independently from JAU.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, choose a plan, load prepaid credits, administer a Business workspace, or contact support.
- Business contact and order details, such as your name, work email address, organization, role, purchased licence scope, and support contacts.
- Plan, app-version, device, update, sync, and support information needed to provide JAU Desktop and JAU Cloud.
- Credit-load intents, payment status, transaction references, usage-ledger entries, and billing contact information needed to administer prepaid access. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by this marketing page.
- Support messages and any diagnostics or files you deliberately choose to send to JAU.
- Security records for JAU-operated sales, update, and support systems, such as authentication timing, IP-derived region, browser or device type, and administrative actions.
How we use information
We use information to prepare and administer orders, provide licensed software and supported updates, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security records, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. JAU processes the workspace, sync, connector, task, and usage information needed to provide the hosted product and applies tenant-scoped access controls to Business workspaces.
AI and connected services
When you ask JAU to use an AI provider or hosted connector, the information needed for that request may be sent from JAU Cloud or your device to the provider you authorize. The provider processes it under its own terms and your configuration.
You or your Business administrator decide which models, connectors, Areas, and generated Apps can use workspace context. Credentials are stored in protected secret stores or provider authorization pages—not ordinary conversation history.
How information is shared
We share business contact, order, update, and support information only as needed to provide and secure JAU, comply with law, protect people or the service, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Infrastructure, email, commerce, support, and security providers acting for JAU's sales, licensing, update, and support operations.
- AI and business-service providers you or your organization choose to connect through JAU.
- Authorities or affected parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
Retention and deletion
We retain commercial, licensing, access, security, and support information for as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention can differ by data type.
Users may request deletion or export of eligible information held by JAU. Requests about an organization-managed workspace may also be subject to that organization's administrator and retention policy. Some security, payment, transaction, or legal records may be retained where law, fraud prevention, or an active dispute requires it.
Security
JAU uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including scoped access, encryption in transit, secret handling, audit records, and service isolation. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their devices and report suspected compromise promptly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to your local privacy authority.
If your account belongs to an organization, that organization may control the account details it issued. We may refer an account request to its administrator so it can respond as the data controller.
Children and international use
JAU is not directed to children under 13. A school, parent, guardian, or other authorized organization must provide any permissions required before a young person uses JAU.
JAU and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for those transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as JAU changes. We will publish the revised policy here, change its effective date, and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
